Dear Family & Friends,

I want to thank you all once again for everything you have done over the past months and recent weeks for Jim and me.

This time was the most difficult we had ever encountered or even imagined. The road was certainly one of hope, faith and determination. Jim & I never gave up the battle. Even on his last day!

Jim was truly remarkable and so wanted to live. I am so proud of him.

He was such a proud yet humble man and was overwhelmed daily by the outpouring of love and support that was given to him. He would want each and every one of you to know he thought the world of you. As the cards, emails and calls poured in, I would kid Jim and tell him that he had his work cut out for him replying to all of you! Of course Jim would give me that million dollar smile and nod…for those of you who knew Jim well, you know that ‘thank you’ notes were not his strong point! His heart and pen did not always meet, but he definitely was grateful, appreciative and loved you all!

All of us when faced with such a loss look for answers…I personally do not know where to begin to look for these answers, so would rather look at the life of our loved ones and how fortunate we were to be loved by them.

Jim’s friend Tom Hinchcliffe who delivered the eulogy at Jim’s Mass summed up his life very well with a quote from William Blake…and I too will end with this tribute to my beloved husband, Jimmy!

To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.

Please stay in touch with me and accept my heartfelt thank you!

Love, Suzy
